Anyone recommend some decent hock boots that dont slip down? My TB keeps catching his hocks when he gets up from lying down (both hocks) and he does it in the field or in the stable.
I've spent a fortune on bales of shavings so the bed is definately deep enough. He did it at the last livery yard as well where he had thick Aubiose bedding ontop of thick rubber mats, so I'm starting to think maybe he catches himself with his shoes somehow??
I've tried neoprene boots with velcro fastenings by Shires but these were hopeless and down at his ankles by the next morning!!! Help!! starting to worry about getting infected/capped hocks (although the scrapes are to the side rather than on top of his hock.....)
