Can anybody recommend good knee boots for a big warmblood, mainly hacking?
Please, can you also mention reason for your recommendation. Thank you.

westropp, nice and soft and comfortable, never had a rub easy to fit in cold weather (no fiddly buckles - velcro and plastic push clips)

If top strap breaks can easily be replaced with a webbing dog collar (done!)

cheap.

had 2 pairs still going well after 5 years.

don't slip if fitted correctly

Thank you.

I bought a pair of Jefferies for my trippy warmblood and IMO they are built for the job!.
They are very good quality and the leather used is thick yet supple and seem to fit comfortably round the top. The part that takes the impact if they fall has done an outstanding job, it's got the marks on the outside but the inside is sound, as are his knees thank goodness.

Hope this helps

I personaly have no experience with them but there was a short article in the back of "your horse magazine" this month on good ones.

Hope it helps

After much research and reading loads of old threads on here, I have just ordered some Jeffries skeleton kneecaps. TDS have them cheaper than usual if you are shopping online

... Just ordered the Jeffries 'normal' knee boots in his size at my local tack shop. Reason's being a) review above and b) they don't sell any other make of knee boot...
Not much of an online shopper I am afraid as I prefer the p2p contact @ local shop (and they are usually not more expensive).

Thank you all for your advice. Very much appreciated!
