Good lessons for a 7 year old beginner in Glasgow?

Does anyone know of anywhere in Glasgow or within a reasonable driving distance that teaches children to ride properly? I've taken my wee girl to a couple of schools and they tell her to pull on the reins to turn and stop and kick to go. I don't want to keep taking her to different schools - she likes the ponies she has ridden and wants to go and see them again instead of going somewhere new.

Where have you tried? There are a few riding schools near where I used to live (Renfrewshire) but they might be too far for you and to be honest I have no idea what the standard of teaching is but could give you the names if that isn't too far.
