Well, I am still looking... I can't find the previous post on this so thought I would put a new post up.

I am looking in the Chorley, Bolton, Preston and Blackburn areas of Lancashire at the moment... I am willing to travel for the right place as I have looked close by and there is nothing ticking all of my boxes.

Things that are essential:
Winter turnout
Floodlit arena
12x12 stables (at least)
Separate field for mare and foal
Trailer parking
2 stables (with the chance to get a third when Troy is weaned)

Things I would like it to have, but not essential:
Someone to do livery
Indoor arena
Bedding and haylage available to use on the yard

If you do not want to post on the open forum, please feel free to PM me

There is Landlords farm. The address is Diccinson Lane, Aspul, Wigan 01942 831329. I have never been on the yard as a livery but i go to the shows they hold there. They have a really good large outdoor arena, Indoor school etc.. Not sure on the other bits you require but its worth a look if its not too far for you. Although its in Aspul its 5 mins from the Bolton Reebok so its near the Chorley A6. Like i said no experience of them just been to their shows.

I used to have lessons there when I was a little girl... the only thing that worries me is that it is mixed turnout. I should have said in the 'essential' bit that it has to be separated mares and geldings

No new pics of Troy... I will take some tomorrow morning if he will stand still for long enough

He is growing up so quickly. He can more or less get his head over the door now which is quite scary

Becki,

I'm stabled at a yard near Preston and it is absolutely A1. They do have a couple of vacancies at the moment. The only thing that I'm not sure they would provide is secluded turnout for mare and foal, but they do have some smaller paddocks which are used for laminitics on restricted grazing etc. We have indoor/outdoor schools - they offer a full range of livery from totally DIY to completely full - there is a menu you can choose from as to what you want and you can vary it as you like. We have a horse solarium for drying after bathing and they provide everything you need if you want.

If you want to PM me I can give you the details?

Rachel

i know ours is too far away from you! But i shall give mum a ring as i know she is friends with a yard owner the otherside of Blackburn which sounds like it'll tick all your boxes
Shall PM you later with more details x
