Hi well after not a problem with my girlie since january I started to feel like I had a normally horse again, well two weeks ago she felt a little un level so went over her with a fine tooth comb and found what we thought was a splint forming, any way called the vet as just wont take any chances with her by the time he came out 3 days later she was very lame any way 1 nerve block later and it turn out it was the same problem as before which is high articular ringbone which is fusing and mild arthitis of the coffin joint argrevated we think but her foot balance being slightly out! any way he took her shoes off prescribe ten day course of bute said to have her re shod after ten days then re asses so vet and farrier are out tomorrow she finished her bute on friday and still looks ok so fingers crossed it was just a minor hiccup just need some good vibes as it nearly a year since it all started and I worried about my little girlie as she so depressed when shes not doing anything and I have had a very happy horsey for the past six months and dont wont to go back to a sad horsey it heart breaking.
