Good News But Very Sad

Well today is the day, my girl is off to her new home in Cornwall at 6pm. The lady that is taking her on permanent loan came to see her yesterday and really liked her so we signed the loan agreement and she organised transport for today. I had already sorted out Fanta's "suitcase" and i was fine while i did that but as soon as all the plans were in place i lost it slightly and spent most of last night crying. I have had Fanta since she was a yearling and she was the first horse i broke myself and we have grown up together. I'm expecting tonight to be horrific but i can't wait to see her back where she was born with a little son or daughter next year!

I haven't actually visited but the lady is extremely good friends with the breeder of my girl who i have known for a very long time. The breeder suggested loaning to her and she in turn would loan on but we decided to keep paperwork to a minimum, but the breeder lives very close and is personally going to oversee things and keep me updated. I have already booked in a visit for April aswell!!!
