My share horse has been lame/having problems with his hocks and sacrillliac (sp?) joint comming up for almost 6 months now. He has had his hocks medicated twice and his back once. The vet came to see him today after she medicated him last week and she said he's responding well to treatment :D. I am so relieved! Ive been so worried about him! She said he is sound in walk and trot but he is still having problems cantering ( She says health wise there is no reason he can't-she thinks its more of a mental block). She says he can now start going back in the field (thank god- he's slowly been loosing his brain stuck in his stable!) and go on the walker, be ridden.. Generally he can start doing more work.

I'm so happy! Fingers crossed he is still able to jump though as its one of his faveourite things!

Glad to hear that things are sorting out :) I think if I were you he would be finding a different favourite thing though, jumping is probably not going to be the best thing for him.
