I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know, that my friend's horse, L'Air du Jour, who was injured during the Advanced at Aston, is making good progress.
The real worry last week was that she may have fractured her hock at the same time. However, happily she hasn't and her latest scan shows she is making good progress. She is starting to walk out (only very short distances of course) and hopefully can come home very soon. She is also behaving brilliantly on box rest which is amazing considering how fit she is.
It is such a relief and hopefully she'll produce lots of babies that inherit her talent!
