Can anybody recommend a good pair of wellies? I am going through countless pairs of cheap Asda wellies this winter, so have decided to just get one decent pair in the hope that they will last me a little longer! I don't mind spending a decent amount as long as its not extortionate! And have heard Hunter Wellies are not worth it, so what are peoples opinions on those?
Thank you!

I've just got some Ariat Mudbusters in the Robinsons sale, and they're flaming lovely! Warm as toast and designed to ride in too. Can definitely recommend them.
I wouldn't give Hunter my money, they're rubbish :-/

In the past I tried countrywide wellies; hunters; joules and shires and they were all poo. I have now invested in a pair of ladies fit neoprene lined lechameu wellies and they are the best thing I've ever put on my feet for the yard. Warm, waterproof and fitted so they don't slosh around on my feet and smart enough to walk round the supermarket in once a quick rinse is done.

Century boots, they were apparently the people who made hunters before hunters started buying in from China. Look the same as the old fashioned hunters and last ages - choice of colour restricted to blue or green as where the originals.

Although hunter wellies are not fab they do have the years warranty on them, so if they do break you can take them back and get them replaced free of charge. I've now done this 3 times over the past 18 months and keep the new receipt each time.

Think Ariat mudbusters are the same with warranty as had issue with them breaking within 4-6 months a few years back but I think it was a bad batch. They are reaaallly comfy though!

Le Chameau All Tracks are fab and not too pricy, I love being able to step in the mud and not worry about wet feet (can you tell I am an ex owner of many pairs of Hunters!)!

I have been wearing Hunters this winter, having said before I would never buy another pair. I saw a cheap pair on Ebay and decided to give them a go and so far I have been really impressed. I trashed 2 pairs in 6 months a few years ago but I'm wondering if they have done something recently to strengthen them....I have done just as much in them as before. If they have I will be very happy as I like the fit and they are comfortable for walking.

Ariat mud busters, had mine 6 years now and wear them every day to walk dog in from Sep to April time. And still going strong

Love them

I work in a country store and by far our biggest sellers and also the ones with the last returns are Le chameau or agile - both have multiple boots of different styles to suit you.
Highly recommended - as a customer of.
