I don't normally post a lot but am feeling jolly smug. The Spillers lady came out last night - bit of background last time she came out pony was bit porky understandably after being on box rest for six months. Anyway last night he had lost 2kg (not much I know) but more importantly had dropped a number on the condition scoring. I have been trying really hard since he has been able to go on grass again. He has been coming in everyday and have been double netting etc. I ve never had a 'fatty' before so I now appreciate how hard it is! Anyway cheered me up after a very difficult few months. Well moral of this very indulgent post is that in case anyone didn't know spillers do a service when they will come out to yards free if there are 10 or more horses with a weight bridge and have an individual chat about each horse. Obviously with sales in mind they talk about their products and you get vouchers but I think its an excellent service and I have changed to spillers as they have been so helpful.
