Bit of a pointless post really...but very chuffed with the spooky pony today: we had a fab schooling session, with him actually willing to accept a contact, and spontaneously deciding that relaxing and rounding is a good thing. 
And he also managed pretty creditable (as in, a casual observer might have been able to figure out what we were trying to do) leg-yielding in trot. This is pretty new for him: he's been doing some lateral work in walk for quite a while, but has found the concept of "sideways-while-continuing-to-trot" somewhat elusive until now!
