the owner of the horse i have on lwvtb has moved the goal posts just slightly (by 4 months:rolleyes: ) and wants me to buy him now!
He's a 14yr TB only raced once back in 2006 and someone has obviously put a lot of work into him at some point even though he came to me a bit underweight and unfit. He loves his jumping and is a real fun horse, I really like him but i am also aware that i always let my heart rule my head lol:o we've agreed £800 for him and i think that's a pretty good price, so do i just go for it ??

£800 sound cheap for the horse. If it doesn't work out you're not going to lose much financially surely (?) what is making you consider the "no i shouldn't" option - you've told us why you think you should go for it but not why not ;)

i bought my cob that i had on loan with a VTB for £900. It was one of the best decisions i made. we are doing so much together now, and i feel i got him for a bargain having got to know him 1st without any pressure.

i would go for it! i did, and i haven't looked back.

purely that i feel i'm being pushed to make a decision, the goal posts keep moving closer:rolleyes: I do think he's a good buy but when you think you have 4 months to decide and save and then suddenly it's by the end of the month, OH is not happy:(

Ask to pay a deposit and pay the rest in installments for next 4 months- if they say no then see if you can come up with the money belive me if you use money that you need somewhere else to buy him outright now, you will feel guilty. But buy him if hes wahat you want
