I thought I was doing the right thing adding micronised linseed into the PSSM horse's diet but it turns out her stomach can't handle it. She now can't handle it in anything - not her joint supplement, nor her balancer.

The forage plus winter balancer made such a huge improvement to her feet that I don't really want to give up on balancers, but most of the powder ones seem to have linseed in them. Any other recommendations?

We also can't do soya, alfalfa, turmeric or msm. :(

might be worth talking to these too, though no issue with pro earth either (and they send sweets ;) ) I think they also make up to spec so if they do use it they could leave it out ;).

I'll drop them a line - I've actually used them before for a herbal eye supplement which turned out to be a miracle cure for watery eyes. Didn't even think about looking at their products for a general balancer. They'd have to leave out the brewers yeast, but if she makes them up from scratch then that would be a lot easier.

Thank you!!

I've not used them myself but quite a few barefooters seem to and seem very happy - which is where I think I have heard about them doing bespoke stuff too.

Of course you could just get mixing yourself ;) though beware your kitchen might look like a drug den with the white powders about the place :D
