"Good" riding centre near Torquay!

I have bought hubby three days worth of Kite Surfing Lessons near Torquay. I'm planning on having a day of Kite buggying but need to entertain myself for the next two days. Does anyone know of a really good riding centre in this area? Either jumping lessons or really good hacks out on nice horses? Wouldn't mind trying something different such as western or carriage driving! Any ideas?

I've never been to Torquay... I think the BHS website can show local stables if you enter the postcode, though.

LMAO! - no he came free of charge a few years ago!!! I had a look on the BHS website but really hard to tell if places are any good, alot of them just list trekking. Will have to make a few phone calls and see, would rather not waste money on somewhere useless!

It's a slight distance from Torquay, but Budleigh Riding School is def worth a drive - hacking on Woodbury common and the horses are really great - have fun!
