I've used Alex McCracken from Penfolds - cannot fault him at all - very patient - very reasonable and fantastic at what he does - if you want his mob number let me know and I'll PM it. One of the best i've used.

Ellie Martin - 01372 200561. Have had my dressage saddle made to measure and adjustable best saddle I've had in 5 years.

Have had 4 saddles (2 dressage and 2 GP) off Alex and none of them have fitted very well. Also sometimes just doesn't turn up.

i used martin at penfold but the call out is massive to this area. something like £75 then fitting on top

Yes to Martin from Penfolds. No to Alex McCracken - he doesn't work for Penfolds and isn't a qualifed saddler. Have PMd you the rest.

Martin at Penfolds is good, have used him in the past. Have tried various saddle fitters and saddlers, all I can say is that there is definitely a shortage of good fitters in this area!

I used Martin from Dragonfly saddlery he is excellent, took loads of time making sure both I and my horse were happy with the saddle.

We use Martin at Penfolds, he is brilliant. Have never heard of an Alex working for penfolds though!

although not based in West sussex I've used Ken Lydon Dykes from saddle world and found him to be extremely good

Jill Tremill is excellent. Both a master saddler and Qualified saddle fitter. Contact details can be found in Society of Master saddlers register.

I've had 3 saddles, WH, Dressage and event/jumping, from her in the past and never had any issues or problems.
