Hey guys!

I don't usually post in here but thought you may all be able to point me in the direction of some good show jumping exercise books?

I'm thinking 101 jumping excercises... but surely there must be more! I just need some focus to my jumping at home, and some new ideas! :)

The pony has had a bout of good behaviour and seems to be really enjoying his jumping rather than trying to buck me off, so I want to continue this by not letting him get bored!

Sorry don't know any others but I've just bought that 101 book & its great :) I bought the 101 schooling exercises one aswell xx

Not bought any for years so probably great new ones but I've always been a fan of Ernest Dillons Showjumping book. More an alround training guide than lots of exercises but I found it really useful.

Ive just bought these, well worth the money in my opinion, loads of different exercises and all on laminated sheets so easy to take down the yard!

wow maxine, these look fantastic... I'm really tempted to order them but I only have a 20x40 arena to ride in as our fields are on a hill so can't really jump in them. Is there stuff in there that will fit in a 20x40?

Top of the list has to go to Training Showjumpers by Anthony Paalman,( recommended by Gerry Mullins who was not only top class himself but trained Cian OConnor and others) full of gymnastic exercises for horse and rider, and grids for both ridden and free schooling.

Showjumping for Fun or Glory by Ernest Dillon. As it says in the front, this book shouldn't be on every showjumpers shelf, it should be in their hands.
