as title, need a good (waterproof!!) full neck or combo no fill turnout.
dont want to spend ££££on a Rambo or Rhino, as will be used infrequently and Premier Equine dont have any no fill full necks.

what do people reccomend? is for a chunky 16hh, so needs to accomodate deep girth and big shoulders/cresty neck, so Saxons are out!

Rhinegold on ebay (torrent?) I know some people hate them, but lasted four years, on big shouldered sport horse, only downside was cotton lining. recently bought an Upland ( new name to me) from Old Dairy, was £35 inc a detachable neck, which normally I hate, but its ok, so far and has a nice mesh lining. Think Amigo do a combo in their lightweight for about £55

My sturdy girl (chunky shoulders) fits v well into her derby house lightweight (the stable rug is another story!). It is lovely and deep on her, fab big tail flap, and no rubs either. Their sizes come up a little generous. Really great for the £ I think. http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/Equestr...e+Rugs/Derby+House+Light+Turnout_401-0055.htm
I know it is only 600 denier, but I have never had a prob with its waterproof-ness (is that a word?!) and it is regularly put through its paces by my mud monster!

I'm with Shady-lady on this one, I love Horseware Amigo rugs. Brilliant value for money. They fit my broad shouldered, deep chested Section D perfectly :)

thank you ever so much, sadly the Amigo isnt available in either 6'6 or 6'9 and i think the 7'0 will be huge even on fatty bruce!
will look at the ebay links when i get home as work server wont allow them, thanks :)
