So I think I've found the one! I need to arrange a vetting asap. Does anyone know of any good vets in this area for a 5 stage? Thanks!!

I'm not in the area any more but used to use Hook Norton vets who were very good back then. Things may have changed though.

I used Hook Norton Vets to do a 5* vetting when we bought our young mare from near to Banbury last December. We had a lady vet called Sally (sorry can't remember her surname) I've met her before & was impressed with how thorough she is.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

Hook Norton. I recently moved away, and am not too proud to admit that there was a tearful farewell phone call made to Hook Norton....

and I MAY have begged them to still come out to me, even though I'm now two hours away...

Best vets in the world in my opinion, and still the only ones I will trust if any of my animals require surgery. My Great Dane is verrry difficult, and they were fab with him when he was castrated. Horse wise, they're absolutely wonderful too... I really can't sing their praises enough.

ETS - small animal side you want Bella, who is utterly divine, and on the equine side of things, Nancy, Sam and Christina are the MOST fabulous vets.

Thanks, I'll look into Hook Norton! Also heard about Towcester and Avonvale. Anyone know anything about them for a vetting??

I dont recommend Avonvale. They failed to notice my horse had a broken splint bone last year and only noticed once I insisted something was wrong....

They also got a recent lameness wrong with me.

Polite and friendly staff, but have let me down twice now

Just realised I can't use Hook Norton due to a close connection with the owner. Anyone know much about Towcester??
