Hi, i have bitten the bullet and decided to take my boy on our firse pleasure ride tomorrow, we are doing the short route (just over an hour), with 3 good friends who all have steady neddies.
Those that don't know, my boy is a rising 4 yr old, Irish cob, he was broken in last summer and coming along lovely. He is ridden/lunged 3-4 days a week and being a little star.
So i have spruced him up and given him his first bath today and scrubbed his legs, which are the hairiest legs in the world and the blackest, (supposed to be white lol)
So if i could have a few good vibes that would be brill, i am a bit apprehensive to say the least!

Hope you have fun! Hope the weather will be nice for you too!
My friend is very into endurance and started off doing pleasure rides, she has just gone away this weekend doing her first race ride!
Do you plan to get into endurance?

I've always been a showing and dressage girl but my friend took me with her last year on one of her 80k rides and I loved it! Not quite enough to get into it properly, but the odd pleasure ride might be in the future for us!
