Well for those of you who don't know my boy here is a quick history.
I bred him myself and he was 23 days late and very sick but with careful management he made it through his first few hours then had colic and had to have several enemas, recovered from that. Went for two years and nothing then he had colic and had to have surgery, again recovered from that. Another two years and following him broncing me off and fracturing my back he was found to have kissing spine so off he went for another op and had two of the four spinous processes, which were rubbing, removed. That was in 2006!
So what has he planned for 2008 another two years later??
Not a happy bunny the other day so I called the vet thinking it may be soreness in his back, noooooo! He had a flexion test and in his left hind he is lame probably in the hock which is causing him to drag his foot and over work his back thus getting sore, so next Friday he is off for x-rays!
God only knows what he's planning for 2010/2012/2014 and onwards - will he last that long! How much can a very devoted mummy take!
So please send good luck, nice, happy, no nasty problem vibes as by god I think I'm overdue them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is the very handsome bay nit in my siggy and only 6 years old!
