Good Weather approaching, do I ?

guys I realy do feel for you, there are still some people waiting round by us - mostly those who want hay rather than haylage. Amanadco2 - you did well to get 300 !!! I only got half that although I struggled to store that many !

Feild being cut today, eeeeee! Keep everything crossed folks, hoping for good weather and if poss 70 round bales off 7 acres, but thanks to the squishing contractors am thinking it will be more like 60 :(

Am I the last one to go?!

ElleSkyWalker - no your not the last - my neighbour is waiting to get hers done and chap down lane (who has offered to do hers at same time as his thank god) - trouble is we have lakes on fields at moment after last 2 days rain and we are only forecast max 3 days good weather - I made mine in 4 and its lovely but it was dry ground.

I am sure yours will turn out great and being a later cut you should get loads in. Good luck, will keep doing sun dance for you.

No - you're not the last, I am!! Still not had ours cut, it's all flopped down and still so wet underneath, I don't know how it'll go.

The weather forecast does look like it's changed for the better but still with showers forcast for Monday and Tuesday, shall I phone the contractor and go for it? What part of the country are you in?

Am in the east mids HappyNeds, we have a few little showers forecast but mostly sun or cloud & over 20 for next 8 days showing on forecast at the mo.

I'd phone contractor & see they can cut yours later in week if u have a few (5+) days of sun showing or at least see if they can come & look at it for u if it has flopped to tell u what best plan is?

We are South West/West Midlands area, the forecast shows fine tomorrow and Monday, heavy rain shower for 4 hours on Tuesday, fine Wednesday, light rain shower Thursday, then heavy rain again from Friday onwards.

:(:(:( It's so frustrating, just don't know what to do

glad you got yours cut ESW - mine looks lovely and was cut one day turned twice the next day and turned again then baled for hay on the third day - it was borderline whether it was going to dry but it did and its lovely stuff.

Happyneds - its so hard isnt it - hope you get it in soon.
