I normally buy Wow ones as they come in so many sizes. I like to have the t-bar right above the stirrup as low as can get it.

Anyone come across a more purse-friendly alternative? Mine are getting tatty.

2nd hand wow on ebay or via the FB Wow selling pages.

I do love the wow ones, so much thinner than most of the others

Enlightened Equitation are reasonable for the price. Not as flexible as WOW but a lot lot cheaper.

Bates Webbers came with my saddle and I've been pleased so far. The 80cm size should be quite long.

I know that Prestige, Stübben, Frank Baines and Erreplus make webbers too. The latter being the cheapest in price, I think.

On another discussion board people seemed satisfied with these for the price:

Then eBay had a bunch of other "suggested items" that showed even more. So there appears to be a wide selection now. It used to be basically just Bates and Wintec back in the day.

Thanks all

I actually don't need really long ones, my wow ones are 26" because as mentioned I like to have the t bar right at the stirrup rather than rubbing against my saddle ;) some I've looked at only have holes starting several inches from the bottom.

Will give those suggestions a look.

I have had my Bates pair for years and they have worn really well. My dad had a wow pair with a new saddle and one snapped within a couple of months - he uses Bates too now with no issues.
