Good young horse books?

I'm making a book shopping list as I need to boffin-up on young horsey things, I've helped back the odd pony but this time it'll be the real horsey thing

So far I have:

Training the Young Horse: Schooling for Success (Pippa Funnell)
Training Your Young Horse: From Foal to Full Grown (Richard Maxwell)

anyone know whether "The Elements of Dressage: A Guide for Training the Young Horse by Kurd Albrecht von Ziegner" is any good?

How about "Basic Training of the Young Horse by Reiner Klimke"?

Any other suggestions?

Obviously will be alongside professional help

ooooo i thought the basic training of the young horse one you mentioned was really good and worth a read. i think amazon do them second hand so are a bit cheaper if thats of any help

The Kelly Marks books are good reading - i think Perfect Partners contains more on the ridden side but they are all useful
