Who has one and how do you find it? Is the image quality as it seems to be? I am trying to persuade Father Christmas to bring me one. I mainly do endurance so would use it for that and hacking. It looks like the Hero 3+ Black Edition is the one to get. Also which helmet mount do you use and do you find it nice and stable and gets a good view? Thanks

Hi, I have the go pro hero 3 + black edition and it is fantastic. Ive used it on endurance rides and took photos and video footage with it. It's excellent quality, and I've had no problems with the stability.

I use the chest mount, and it still gives a good view between the horses ears. I have also done some showjumping in it too, and when you play it back it feels like you are jumping again. It has many different features that you can play with, a good one is the 30 second burst mode where it takes a lot of shots in 30 seconds, brilliant to set up under a jump!

One thing I will say, please ensure that you order it from a genuine go pro stockist, don't be tempted on a bargain, and don't order from a company called Simply Electronics, as they sell counterfeit goods!! The price of mine was £360.

If you want to know anything else just ask x

My OH has one he uses on his mountain bike and I borrowed it the other week to film some schooling. It has a very wide angle lens so captured a lot of the scenery. The image when we played it back on the PC was amazing, although it gets a bit worse once you upload it onto YouTube, but I guess that's a YouTube issue.
OH says the battery life isn't great but you can get upgraded batteries.
