I was supposed to be going through my house finding things to sell:rolleyes: But decided it was way too nice to waste indoors, so we headed to our favourite place in Norfolk (well ok, Suffolk) after the beach, Knettishall Country Park, instead!

We had a little walk across the heathland

Then we headed for the river - Henry was most surprised when I joined him in there!:D

Then we found a shady spot off the beaten track by the water - didn't stay too long there though, too many midgies. As you can see, Henry had been in the rivermud by that point:mad:

Yes, I had my shorts AND my crocs on - take that, fashion police!:D

We moved on and found a fantastic spot in a meadow under a tree, and that's where we stayed for several hours. It was so quiet - most of the people seem to stay in the carpark:rolleyes: So we got to see a deer grazing, and three young hares showed up just a few metres away!:) Henry was good as gold, and although he saw the hares he did as he was told and didn't chase them - I was very proud:)

Our afternoon spot

Henry takes sun safety very seriously:D

It's exhausting, all this lazing about in the shade:D

Thanks for looking!:)

I am not surprised that Henry needed another nap after a day at the beach and a walk in a country park!!:eek::eek: Looks like a nice spot :)- I take it you didn't take a picnic with you?!;):p:D

Sweep and Max have spent all day moving from shady spot to shady spot - we will go for a walk in a bit when its cooler!:)

Wow, looks like a lovely day!! Has been forever since I've taken my dog out on a lovely long walk.. couldn't today as I had dressage! :p Is Henry a Cocker Spaniel? He's luuuurvely!! :) xx

PMSL!! That is the typical reaction, right before the dawning realisation that 'lovely cocker spaniel' is snaffling your picnic! :D

Were those the Babybel Henry was trying to hatch yesterday?? :D

Otto spent most of the day swimming around the Soar. We did some Dummy training this morning (and lots of Otto ignore all the other doggies, they are not going to mug you training!) and then just parked up by the river this afternoon :D It's lovely having a large river at the end of the horse's field :D

Yep, they were the same ones

VS, Henry is a Stealth Spaniel, he either goes up to people, waits until they go all gooey and then runs off with their food, or he sneaks up behind people and dives into their bags (as Kirstyhen found out yesterday!) :o

Good boy Otto - Henry managed to mash his new tennis ball in about five minutes flat!

:D :D :D He should go to a ninja academy :p xx

Ninja Henry would be truly terrifying!!

Although we really were asking for trouble having 3 Spangles out together, we need to outnumber them at all times to survive! Otto was doing a sterling job of distracting me whilst Henry snuck into my bag!! I preferred Sweep's no-messing approach, just plough through the middle of the picnic with your mouth open and see what falls in :D :D

Sweep was brilliant!

**trundle trundle trundle kersplat (that was anyone who happened to be in the way) munch munch kersplat (on the way back out) trundle trundle trundle**:D

Sweep is no amateur, he managed to polish of his own and various other leftover bits of Pig's Ear AND plough through the picnic taking what he could several times, whilst the others could only look on in admiration!

Max was the only one that could come away with his halo still in place! As well as providing a classic comedy moment :D

Max was definately a saint! Although he is a boring old Lab, so we expected nothing less :p :D

****Doesn't admit to the fact that after spending the day with Max, is now set on a Lab for OH, turns out they're not that boring!****

Finally! Took you long enough :D

Fab pictures Spudlet, although the title should have a warning about the crocs :D

Thank you for making me smile! What a cutie-love the Wallaroo style hat on him...
My Harry loves his bandana in the summer.

Did I mention the time our old lab carried a little old lady away on his back? Definitely not boring!:D

There was a bit of chicken waving in front of his nose just out of shot when he had his hat on, otherwise he kept looking up and tipping it off:rolleyes:
