Gorgeous grazing

Anyone? Even if you haven’t herd of them, I would really appreciate some having a look at the site and giving their opinion, and maybe some ideas of what questions to ask them.
 
Thanks, I am hoping they have a paddock that a couple of yearlings can share, the little colt we are getting is being cut in april and I was hoping he could go there until the end of may (as we are away) so he will have young ones to play with as at the moment he is just with mum and she doesnt teach him anything like not to bite
 
I have heard of them, someone I know had her mare there who'd lost a shoe for what looked like ages so give it a good check out and ask whats included in the price and do the horses get checked over at the least once a day.

Thanks will do, due to the distance I will be only be able to get there on my days off, so I need to know all is being checked in-between my visits. I am giving them a call later and will see if I can go and have a look around tomorrow.

I think it will be better for my new colt than just staying with mum, he needs to be weaned. I made an agreement with the seller that If I paid for him and paid her livery and for his food etc whilst he was there would she keep him until may, as we are away for 3 weeks and I don’t want him to come home, then me go off and leave him for 3 weeks with the livery doing him, she agreed but is now saying its going to be difficult to wean him as she cant really keep him form mum, I do understand but if I hadn’t decided to have him she could still have him in June if he didn’t sell so she would have had to of weaned him.

Mum isn’t playing with him or telling him off for nibbling so another youngster or a group may help him learn more manners and learn its not ok to nip hard.
 
I can thoroughly recommend Gorgeous Grazing. I bought a horse from the owner a couple of years ago and he was brilliant. She looks after the horses there very well and the paddocks are safe and good too. She really knows what she is talking about. I saw several of her horses and they were in tip top condition.

I Just had a chat with them, and we are going to have a look at the place tomorrow, the lady on the phone was lovely and very knowledgeable. She would even work with him for the first week and get him used to farriers and having his head collar on and off. He will be gelded there also, then turned out to play with two fillies so I am sure he will love it there. Getting excited now, as I was just worried before about the seller deciding she isn’t keeping him there when I am half way around the world on holiday.
 
I'm assuming your colt is a yearling and just wanted to say I would be worried about turning him out with fillies until at least six weeks after gelding. I know the risk is small, but it isn't one I would like to take.
