After reading the threads about body protectors and air jackets, i was having a look at what they cost.
i felt they were expensive but worth looking at.
i started looking on ebay, searched for horsey ones, all too expensive. then i thought who else would wear one and i thought motor bikes. incredibly i found a second hand motoair jacket in my size for sale for £40! i bought it immediatly.

Somewhat scepticle i thought i should test it first. it took a week to get hold of spare gas for it, but they only cost £2.65 each, again so cheap.

This was the test done this afternoon dont laugh too much!

it works!. the jacket is well padded with armoured elbows and shoulders. the sleeves zip off so its just like a body warmer. for £40 i am not complaining.

when it went off it got tight but felt like it would do some good.

chuffed:D

Well, the idea came from the motorbike sort world so you've probably done the sensible thing. I am still not convinced by air jackets on the whole and think this whole £15-£20 it costs to refill the canister after every fall is a total rip off! I would have thought someone could have come up with a way for that not to have to be the case!

I just love your smiling happy face :)

Great value. The riding ones are much longer down the spine, but yours is still a bargain.
