yeah... my horse was absolutely full of it with being stabled and not ridden for a month or so..
i stayed on for a while whilst she bronced away but then i somehow ended up sitting behind the saddle with both of my legs over her right side... next thing i knew i was sitting in a huge puddle soaking & unable to breathe whilst she cantered around without me :P

the first 30 seconds look ok! ;)
Well Sat!

Might I suggest a brest plate or neck strap for those 'hairy' rides next time - saves a pull on the mouth that might wind them up more.

Hope the Bum is ok! :)

i have to say i once i could breathe again i was sat in the puddle giggling to myself! i usually do grab onto her martingale strap but my life kinda flashed before my eyes for a while there!

& unfortunately she doesnt lunge, she just stands there refusing to move. would love to know why, had the vet and numerous instructors and trainers out but the most we can get out of her is a very very lazy walk for 30 seconds.. else i definitely would have lunged. thanks for suggestions though, maybe if i get someone to lunge me on her that could work.. x

oh dear...well least you could laugh afterwards and weren't hurt badly...

I had a horse once that wouldn't lunge would just stand in middle looking at me as if to say...'yeah what?' then walk into meet me...so understand that one LOL

Thats the thing - the neck strap/martingale/mane is always flying past your hand fairy rapidly when you most need to grab it!!!

Maybe send it off to You have been framed - 250quid is worth a soggy bum! :)

There was absolutely no reason other than she was full of it! she is always like this if she hasnt been ridden for a while, except i usually manage to stay on :P

the you've been framed idea i may well give a go :D

So glad to hear you wasnt hurt. I fell of my horse before and now am so wary I sometimes put a lead rope around the neck so I have something extra to hang onto. Not funny when a horse takes off and one ends up on the floor.

Glad your ok.
