Got my C1 test in a weeks time (i am stressing)

I passed my cat C on saturday. Biggest tip is to stay calm and remember the examiner isn't trying to fail you! I found I was really nervous but once I got on the road I was concentrating so hard I forgot my nerves oh and MIRRORS MIRRORS MIRRORS!

Well done! Relax and mirrors - i will remember that!!

I was a lgv instructor from 2005 to 2008 and the best advice is to take in all that your instructor has told you

Much will go in when you are asleep - seriously

Which LGV school are you using?

Are you doing 1 to 1 half day training or 2 to 1 all day training?

confidence in your ability, smiling and breathing (helps a lot that!!)

HAVE FUN - the more pressure you put on yourself the harder it will be to relax

ENJOY THE DRIVE - for predicting what every daft numpty will do before they do it, give yourself extra points

I did my c1 in November,

Mirrors, mirrors, mirrors, mirrors!

I used them more than looking out the front window, well thats how it felt!

As long as you are fully aware of the road, and your mirrors, and your kerbside, you will be fine!

I was really nervous and my examiner was a dragon, and to be honest I thought I had failed so I kind of thought, sod it, whatever. Then I relaxed more.

I got 13 minors! Lucky for some!

Its only an hour, so go for it!

Good luck!
