Have been taking my ex racer to a few shows over the summer to get him used to it and went back to the same showground today that I went at the start of the summer and back then he bucked me off before I even got in the ring as he was over excited. I didn't end up doing any classes and came home feeling really down.
Anyway today we went back and he was so unbelievably well behaved, I got a clear round and then had one pole down in the next class (70cm). My sharer who is a lot more gutsy than me got a 2nd & 3rd.
Am so pleased and really feel we have turned a corner so just wanted to share especially with any other peeps who have been having the same issues as I had mentioned above ...you can get there
