Got up at 6am and rode my baby in the field! It was nice and cool and so peaceful! NO FLIES either which made it even more enjoyable!

Wont get a chance tomorrow until the weekend because she is having a freezemark done on her shoulder!! I'm so nervous!

I was out walking the dogs at 5.20.


Don't worry about the freezebrand - most really don't worry. have a good selection of treats and she probably will focus on you instead.

about to tack up my horse now rush hour nearly over.
 
I am going to try it tomorrow as it does seem to be the best part of the day. I do it in winter as I have to go up early any way and muck out and put them out. But I have been enjoying the extra lie in

Been told tomorrow is the hottest day so far so going to try the 6am thingy. Glad you mentioned there are no flies! They have been driving me nuts

I did it yesterday but this morning I still got up early at 5:30 but went for a run, I've got back into doing a bit here and there and its really helped my fitness when riding too. Then called at the livery yard on my way to work to give them some hay and check up them.

It would lovely this morning, sun was just coming up, all hazey over the river, really enjoyed it.

I got up at 5am to ride as it was too hot last night, even at 9pm, to discover it was chucking it down so decided to go back to bed for an hour and got up at 6am to give them their breakfasts. Twas a shame as i'd been looking forward to it too and dad had mentally prepared to get himself out of bed at that time too. Oh well will try again tomorrow!

I used to do it all the time with my old boy but after he retired there was a reasonably long gap before I bought Badger, and I had forgotten until this morning just what I had been missing!
