There's a new member of the AAD crew, Danny the lurcher!

Though, he's not at all what I expected. He's far better :D

He gets a bit panicky and stressy but once he's been assured that everything's fine he settles down and ends up doing what all sighthounds do best. Sleeping.

Madam is not pleased but I think my dad likes him more than he lets on, I think it's more of a memory thing where he's concerned as he knows my mum would have had him had she lived.

He's small for a lurcher but he's bigger than a whippet, about 23-24" tts. I would say he's 25% staffy, 25% whippet and 50% greyhound but that's just a guess - he's more greyhound than whippet for def. though. And he's about 2-3yrs old.

He was being sold at a show, someone bought him and handed him over to GRWE.

He knows his name and he's a fast learner - already knows how to sit after one day of teaching with the clicker. Down's a bit harder but we're getting there.

He scares me to death when he goes up and down the stairs!

And now, picturespam!

He is gorgeous, looks like he has made himself right at home. I'm not a skinnydog expert but he looks very much greyhound/whippet, can't see any staffie in there personally.

Yay! Another stripey dog :D He looks gorgeous and Dashy wants to come over to your place and play chase at supersonic speeds :p:rolleyes:

Awww he is lovely, so pleased there is another GRWE dog on here, I know it probably isnt down to me but I do like to think I am spreadng the word :D

I would agree with MM, doesnt look like he has much Staffie in to me? But he is absolutely gorgeous, you lucky thing :):):)

Today is his one-week gotcha and he's settled in really well. Madam is still not impressed but at least she's not sulking anymore lol.

I think you have to see him in person to see the 'bully' part of his features, can't really capture it properly on camera :/ It might not be staffy but he's definatly got blunty in there somewhere as his head's rather square.

He's beginning to really open up now, learning what toys are for and that yes, he can run around like a lunatic (though preferably not when it's raining, Danny). And, just by watching him, I would put him closer to 2 than 3 - he's very much still a puppy :D
