Was getting the horses groomed and ready for lunging this afternoon (oh has to drive me to the yard, and is doing the actual lunging fkr me under my instruction as my knee is still recovering)

Oh says: do you want me to go get the paladina?

Me: the what?

Oh: the paledina thing...

Me: uh, the what?!

Oh: the band thing that goes found his belly and has all the straps on and clips?

Me: ahhhhhhh. The lunging roller and Pessoa?

Oh: uh, yes. That.....

Lol, bless him....!
 
My OH made me laugh too today. I was practising loading and need to use a bridle or I get dragged around. Horse was very good and walked straight on. I asked OH to pass me a carrot as a reward and he said 'I didn't think he was allowed to eat with his brace in'. I think he meant bit. :)
 
No complaints from me! For nearly four months he has been helping me out with the bits I can't do, and if I end up having surgery it will be longer term help too!

I almost felt mean the other night when he got home with a tale of how he'd stepped out of his welly into the mud, and I nearly wet myself laughing!
 
mine likes to make jerry 'follow' him by waving treats about - he treats my poor horse like he treats the dog and then wonders why the horse is always in his pockets :p
