I bought her 12th April when I got dumped by my boyf, but conviently student loan was through same day
Since then shes done a bit of ground work, had her teeth sorted as shes not rising four as p/port says but three this year. She had some baby teeth removed.
I havent done anything with my youngster for a week because of work, have literally given her bum a rub and given her a feed so today I bought her in to groom her and then lunge her. She had been lunging well and going out for walks to meet scary things like donkeys and goats. Tractors are apprantly not scary unlike a donkey!!
Well shes gone back to having legs that are too precious to groom, but we soon got over that. She was not too impressed mum decided to have a caravan clearout next to her
And then her mane. She would not let me brush it. So I untied her and kept brushing it walking backwards with her. And ended up inthe middle of the field. I walked her back to where we started and brushed her again, this time she was ok. Next was hoof oil that was well scary too.
She eventually got over that, after much welshy snorting.
But she lunged very well considering I lunged her in the field rather than the pen that I work her in normally (grass in here is far too green now, and she just wanted to eat it). Shes learnt Stand ( have to say it 5 million times though but we get there in the end) and can now do a downward transition from trot to walk which i'm very impressed about. Oh and she has to jump the poo I left in the field
Shes a bit of a nut job pony, shes soo like my mare, Toffee. I love welshies. Will post some pics in a bit because she has grown up so much since I bought her the other month.
