Putting this in here as well, in case anyone's got any riding plans, with a phone in their pocket... For those who may not be aware, they are testing the national alert system on Sunday at 3pm. Info here - https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uks-emergency-alert-system

(Burghley have already allowed for a ten minute break either side of it to avoid ruining someone’s day!)

I didn’t get the last one either but I’m pretty sure I changed some of the alert settings (during Covid). So also interested to see if I get this one.

Thank you! I'm doing the Windsor sponsored ride. I think I'll be heading home by then but I'd rather it didnt go off in the lorry.

How can I stop it?

I know on iphones at the very bottom of notifications you can turn off both emergency and severe alerts. Whether that works I have no idea; could turn your phone off? :)
