GP Saddles for high withered TB

Hi,
Looking for the best saddle for a high withered TB. Preferably a cheap ish option Have currently been looking at Collegiate, Thorowgood, John Whitaker and Premier Equine. Has anyone with a TB used these brands and do you recommend them?

I got a second hand Kent and Masters GP for my high-withered TB. V good fit and not too expensive.

A friend bought the PE mono flap one, she sold it on very quickly. Although she said she quite liked it, it was a bad fit on her TB who had withers and shoulders.

I had a TG high wither T4 for my first TB, It was actually ok!

I had an Albion K2 GP with a TB tree on my boy, he now has the jump version.

I had a Thorowgood T4 high wither fitted for my TB and I was surprised at how well it fitted both of us.

Best bet is to get a saddle fitter out who carries a range of brands to try.

There are too many variants to recommend a brand having never seen horse nor rider in the flesh.

A saddle fitter can advise what is best for the pair of you.

A used wooden tree saddle can be a better bet than a changeable headplate, work with a fitter who can find the best option for you both (rider fit is important too).

Have also used the TG high wither , we both liked it!
