GPS systems

I read somewhere (H&H possibly) that for around £80 you can now by a small GPS device which if you had a fall whilest riding would give the emergency services an exact location for you.

A good idea?

Personally, I will strongly consider buying one once I start hacking Tilly out on my own but as that is a good year off I'm in no hurry....

I don't think it's quite as easy. The devices mentioned above must be similar to the transponders skiers use in case of avalanches
