Grace update - she is now at Leahurst

Thanks again everyone... I have still not had an update so all I can assume is that she is no different, or has a slight improvment from this afternoon. They said they would only phone me if there was a deterioration or they needed to operate

So I am taking some comfort from this!

I have the phone fully charged by my pillow on the bed, just in case!

Hopefully I can go on Monday in visiting hours... can't wait to see her now! I have made the decision not to go tomorrow. It is my Dad's birthday and we are all supposed to be going for lunch. Plus they still do not know exactly what is causing the colic so I just want to let them get on with it and phone me when they know anything. I know that sounds awful not wanting to see her, but I just want her to get better and while she is in isolation I would rather stay away just in case for Hannah too.

Thank you everyone... just off to do Hannah this morning (not looking forwards to it as Grace's stable will also need doing

) and now awaiting a phone call as they said they would phone me with an update if I had not heard anything from them last night...

I still can't believe she is there!

Fingers crossed you get some good news soon. My daughter is a 2nd year vet student at liverpool, and if the Mel who is looking after Grace is Mel Royal she seems to be really highly thought of.
