Grackle bridle recommendations?

Have got some money (for a change) that I have managed to save- approx £150. I decided I want a new bridle for Q

Her current one is abit old and is mix/match of different brands.
It must be black, to match her saddles.
It must have a grackle noseband.
It must be decent quality.
And I would like a really fluffy bit on the grackle (cos I am vein...!)

Although it needs to be pretty plain as will be using it for pony club and they're pretty strict

Recommendations?
Plus what are the best, grippy reins available?

I think it said £166 for snaffle bridle with grackle on the 'how it works' page? so a little bit more but well worth it

Sophie has a nice grackle bridle from Sederholm Selected..

I think including reins it was about £200 though, and possibly for that price I don't think the leather is the most durable. For everyday she has one from Gibsons saddlers in Newmarket which is about 7 years old now and still cleans up really well.

However if I had to choose now would probably geta Jeffries one as I think their leather is just the best.

Whatever bridle you pick - I would definitely suggest biogrip reins (Jeffries/Kate Negus, and prob others make them) as they are definitely the most grippy reins about.

Make sure to avoid Whitaker ones - ours was v unimpressive quality.

Hi I have a Sabre comfort bridle "Cordoba mexican grackle for sale black, it doesn't fit my new boy as its cob. it is in excellent condition as I only used it a few times its on ebay at the moment in my ebay shop. pm me if you want the link. It has a buy it now of £80

Thanks for all the recommendations. Will go to my local tackshop to see if they have any good brands in stock first

DH have some nice ones but don't trust them at all with delivery as have heard lots of horror stories!

I would agree with KatB as also got a Kate Negus drop noseband comfort bridle that gorgeous but also doesn't fit my new boy so also selling this.

Do you know what the quality of the leather is like on the Frank Baine bridles? Saw them and they are exactly what I was looking for, and cheap too, but don't know how good the quality is!

dont know about there bridles but i have a pair of Frank Baines half chaps and the leather is really lovely so i imagine there bridles are as well

I got a Jaguar one and its lovely only cost £115 without reins and it is excellent quality and looks stunning!
