Grackle - mexican Vs normal - what's the difference?

As above really, what's the difference (if any) between the two? Im looking on ebay and there seems to be a grackle and a mexican grackle (suggesting there's a difference)

i think the mexican does not sit quite as high up the face?

Mexican usually has rings so fastens higher up on the face so avoiding interfering with the jaw. As far as I am aware anyway.

A Mexican grackle has rings on the upper straps. It's sometimes called a high-ring grackle. It can be fitted higher up on the face making it more effective.

An english grackle sits down below the cheekbone, and doenst normally have a metal ring but just a loop of leather meeting the noseband bit so can slip bank and foreward.
A mexican sits higher.

Personally dont like english grackles as dont think they sit well

The mexican grackle has the high rings, and fit higher on the cheekbone. The 'normal' grackle doesn't have rings but the noseband slides through loops in the leather instead. They need to be fitted below the cheekbone. I prefer the mexican high rings
