I sooooo want to go to this! Saw the schedule at the weekend!

Just afraid he'll think my horse is a cart horse! lol! She can jump though...

What level do you think you'd need to be jumping? Are you going?

Thanks Sal - It might be worth a laugh!!!!!

I don't think you should worry about your horse being a cart horse!!! (which I'm sure he/she isnt) and I don't think there is a limit on level, as far as I know that's why you get divided up so that no-one goes out of their depth etc.

My horsey is only five and we are jumping 2'3" - 2'9" happily. So long as you enjoy your jumping I wouldnt worry, I just really want to learn lots!!!!

Rambo, it's Cobham Manor, Thurnham Nr Maidstone. Area 45 bsja me thinks xxx

I have sent off my booking form, YAY!

We are competing at 1m but as I say, she's jumped 1.20m at home, so hopefully we'll be put in a 1.10m group too, I might see you there then

And Sally, hopefully see you there, if my new horses passes Graham Fletcher then perhaps she'll be ready for a lesson with JE!!!

I know they have loads on, I only saw it because I picked up a stray winter schedule at Duckhurst on Sunday, loads of dressage too.

They also say you can ask about certain trainers and they'd do their best to get them there for a clinic.

I think £45 is very reasonable for a trainer of that level, wonder what he'll think of me *scoff*

Hmmmm...I was thinking £45 was quite a lot to be 1 of 6 tbh

I paid £35 to be 1 of 4 last December for a similar level of coach.

It was yes, but I also know how much another very good local coach charges per hour to run clinics, and there's still plenty of profit at £35 per head for 4 trust me !

I think Area 46 just covered the cost of the arena hire for the day tbh...

Maidstone's a bit of a bugger for me to get to, I would love to have a lesson from him. Rambo, you must know by now anything is worth what someone will pay for it! And it seems plenty are willing to pay for this, so therefore he can do it! Also, if you are interested in Annette she teaches every other week at Patchetts.

I think you hit the nail on the head there TE, I see at as an opportunity as it's unusal to get a person like him so close to me.

Rambo, my training budget is also very limited, so decided I'm not competing next weekend to help cover it!

Do you know how much D.I charges? A LOT! I agree though, £270 for an hours work is not bad at all

).

Don't forget too, Graham won't get all of that. He's got travel expenses to factor in, and Cobham will want a fair slice too I would think

JH - yes, you can work your way up to J.E., LOL!

TGM - I'd LOVE to meet you!!!! OK, I shall book the day off immediately (you have to come now!).

Does anyone know if you have to purchase a ticket to spectate? I'm guessing not, I can't imagine CM would be organised enough for that...

Randira - you'd better be coming now!

Graham and Tina are based in Oxfordshire.

The venue is likely to be taking a sizeable chunk of the money. I think the going rate for lecture/demos by people such as Graham & Tim Stockdale was at least £500 over 10 years ago.
