Grand National Weights out

GRAND NATIONAL WEIGHTS are out now.

Is it me or are some of these very bizarre? How come a Gold Cup winner such as War of Attrition who has been running fairly well in top company is on 11-01 yet horses who are (IMO) much less capable such as Black Apalache, One Cool Cookie and Hear the Echo are only 4lbs adrift on 10-11?

Still, at least with Denman being taken out, the handicap will come into play again.

Yeap i find that rather confussing too,think as well on his recent form he should be a tad higher in the weights compared to the others maybe?

Wonder how many are the potential Gold Cup runners will eventually run in the National?!

Funny how Mouse Morris was vocal over the (in his opinion)harsh treatment of Hear the Echo, but didn't utter a squeak about WOA!!!

Yes, he did, but he's been put in higher than Silver Birch who's won a National, so it can't be form over the fences that's been the deciding factor.
He's rated more than 40lbs below WOA at the moment.
