Granulosa cell tumour.....removed today!

Well its finally gone! My darling mare is recovering in hospital after having it removed today under standing sedation. Vet said it was starightforward but she'll be pretty meserable and in pain for the next day or so, but she will have plenty of pain relief.

Ive been beside myself with worry, she's 20 years old and a homebred and so very precious. I'm going to visit her on Friday and plan to bring her home on Monday

Well the visit was lovely. She's a bit bleary eyed and oh so much quieter.....she was pretty laid back before to be honest just a loon when a mare in season about! I'm so much looking forward to bringing her home!
