Grass Belly Already?

I can't believe it - my horses have been going out in the day time for the last three weeks or so, since it has dried up and my mare is definitely showing a very impressive grass belly already! She is still v fit, being ridden and schooled and hunted regularly. The other mare hasn't put on any weight at all and she is the Welsh type one!

I think perhaps the Exmoor stallion from the moor has sneaked into her field in the night and she will drop a foal in the next month or two - what do think an Exmoor cross TB X ID will look like? Only joking - I say this every year!

My horse is sporting a bit of a pot belly too....and i'd only just got her trim. i've been nasty and put her out naked tonight...maybe she'll slim down....i sound like such a bad mummy!
