Grass chaff

Somebody recently recommended that I should feed speedibeet, grass nuts and grass chaff to my arab who needs to gain weight. I'm loving this idea however, I just wondered what everyones opinions are on the best grass chaff? Also, would I need to feed some kind of vitamin/ mineral supplement with this diet? Thanks x

It would be a good bet to have a good alround balancer/ mineral supp.

I know a lot of people love simple systems or pure feeds. I cant comment on either as never used them!

I feed readi grass. Is that what you mean?

None of mine would eat it, when I bought some. Not sure what brand, white bag with green bands and writing :/
