Our fields are pretty sparse at the moment but I noticed my horses glands are up and she also has a swelling on her cheek (near her mouth)
She is bright and perky and happily eating.
Last time she had this it was grass glands but as I say our grass is still pretty crap.
If she's still swollen in the morning I'll be calling the vet.
But was just wondering if grass glands were a possibility?

Mine has been coming in with them for most of the winter. They go down overnight, but it makes schooling in the afternoon difficult

My cob's grass glands came up a couple of weeks ago, when we had a mild spell. They went down as soon as the snow came, (funnily enough!), but imagine they will come back over the next few weeks as it gets warmer and the grass resumes growing.

Hopefully they will have gone down by the morning x

Well I suppose the grass must be getting better as she is happily eating it instead of sulking at the gate!
I think she's just puffed her cheeks out to get out of doing work this evening.
Ill be carefully poking and prodding her tomorrow but I expect she will have deflated by then.
