Hi, im looking for grass livery. 24.7 Grass livery with shelter and assistance to check horse or feed the days im not around. Can anyone recommend anywhere.
Im looking from Chessington,Esher,Cobham,Epsom maybe?

Many thanks if u can help..Or anyone looking to share a field possibly and help each other?

Cheers :-)

The only place I know of that definitely does grass only livery is Barwell farm Chessington. But they offer no assistance unless you also have a stable so you'd have to buddy up with another livery. I don't think there is any shelter either. Plus the arrangements there are not to everyone's taste.

There are any number of good livery yards around Esher / claygate / chessington. You could try Woodstock North or Bridle road and see if either of them offer grass only. I don't think they do - but you could ask. Of the others, Manor farm, Slough Farm, Woodstock South, Arbrook Farm and CEC all offer extensive turn out but I don't think anyone offers gaurenteed 24/7 year round. The feilds just can't take it. (Old Barn is the only remaining one but they have no turn out at all.)

Try asking Simon at Elm Farm and see if he knows anyone. He delivers fodder to pretty much everyone in the district.

If you want to go toward livery with a stable (even if you don't use it) may I reccommend Woodstock South? PM me if you want details etc.

Manor Farm and Slough Farm don't offer grass livery. There is a small yard on Bridle Road in Claygate, not sure if they do. Arbrook Farm offers 24/7/365 grass livery, includes hay in the winter, lovely yard, fields and herd, let into a barn over night in winter, no assistance.

If you go up to Barwell the lady who owns it also owns grass livery fields on the back of Claygate just over the A3 bridge. Worth a ring, very basic though literally just a field.

Epsom, drive down Chalk Lane and there are lots of small grass livery yards, I'd keep to those on the side owned by Atkins though, some have small yards and stables some not.
