We have a 4.4 acre field, with a feed track around the perimeter. Horses will be out on track in the spring / summer / autumn to avoid gorging on lush grass. This kind of system encourages horses to move as a herd, grazing as they go and is particularly beneficial to older horses, barefoot horses and horses prone to weight gain and laminitis.
During winter the herd will be brought in at night onto an acre hardcore giving access to the large field shelter with ad lib hay. They will go out in the day to graze rotated paddocks.
Very good hacking out direct from the field, you can get onto the TPT which is just down the lane and also into some lovely woodland riding further down the trail.
Ponies: £10 pwk +hay
Horses: £15 pwk +hay
Currently we have a 12 x 12 shelter on order to be delivered in next couple of weeks. We will then add the large 30ft shelter and tack room once we have had planning permission granted, which should be end of Sept / Early October, fingers crossed
Assisted or full livery can be arranged.
