I am thinking about putting my horse on grass livery in the near future and would just like to get some ideas if possible! She has an injury which means it is likely she will no longer be ridden so facilities aren't a necessity but a shelter to tie up would be a bonus.
Horse is a good doer so poorer grazing is preferred or some sort of strip grazing/other way to manage a good doer (I can muzzle if needs be)! Because of her injury I couldn't go anywhere that was particularly hilly - a slight slope is fine but nothing too steep.
She gets along with other horses (mares or geldings) absolutely fine and isn't the dominant type, generally she keeps herself to herself. She can be left alone but obviously wouldn't like her alone 24/7.
I am near the clyde tunnel and would ideally be looking for somewhere no more than 12 miles away. I know a few yards in Renfrewshire and I'm going to ask around in that area but I don't know anywhere around the Milngavie area so ideas around there are welcome!
