Grass livery or DIY livery and working 9-5

im on DIY, i work 8-6 3 times a week & 2 half days (8-1 & 1-6) i moved yards in Dec (first year in my job) to a yard that had 24/7 all year turnout.

i go up @ 6:30 with dad, we change the rugs on mine & friends horse then whilst i muck out, i put the water bucket under tap to fill up & dad turns them out. i make all my haynets & feeds on a Sunday for the week ahead so when i get there on an evening i just grab the haynet & wet it down then mix his feed.

we have a school with lights, i try to ride on my time off where poss & then 1 other night during the week (more if i havent ridden during the times i dont work)

i am DIY
work 8.30 to 5 often abit later.

its ok.glad when summer comes and they get turfed out!
YO also a blessing and will help out-eg bring in/out etc if i need her to or just need a lie in!

To be honest there's no difference in grass or DIY (if you mean part-stables).
If the horse is permanently at grass there will be a lot more poo picking to do but if it's part-stabled you have to muck out;
They still need checking at least twice a day;
In the winter when there's no grass you need to consider extra feeding and/or hay and also if the summer is hot and dry and the grass doesn't grow.

Grass livery might seem like an easier option but it isn't necessarily so
